The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) has been conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of XAMI members for over 75 years. It is one of India’s leading entrance exams for admission to MBA/PGDM programs at 250+ premier B-schools.

The complete schedule for XAT 2027 registration has been released. As per the latest update, candidates can apply for this entrance exam from July 15 to December 6, 2026. The admit card can tentatively be downloaded from December 20, 2026.

XAT 2027 Registration Fee

It is mandatory to pay the XAT registration fee to successfully complete the application process. The XAT 2027 registration fee will be INR 2300.

In addition, candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200 each. The fee for Indian candidates applying for PGDM(GM) through GMAT/GRE will be INR 2600.

The fee for NRI/Foreign/PIO/OCI candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT will be INR 5000.

Step 6: Submit Your Application Form: Review all the details entered in the XAT application form and submit it. After successful submission, download and print the online application form and e-Receipt for future reference and admission-related processes.

XAT 2027 Photograph and Signature Specifications

Candidates will be required to upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format. If the file size and format are not as specified, an error message will appear. 

While filling in the XAT form, the candidate will be provided with a link to upload his photograph and signature. There will be two separate links for uploading a photograph and a signature. • Go to the official XAT website and click on the “Register” link.
• You need to verify your Email ID and proceed to fill out the application form.
• Name of the candidate or their Father’s name/Mother’s name, etc., should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/Mark sheets/Identity proof.
• Candidates should correctly fill in the Academic and Work experience details in the application form.
• Select the XLRI programme of your choice if you want to study at XLRI. (Through XAT or Through GMAT).
• Select the XAT Test City preference. Candidates can choose 6 preferred test cities while filling out the XAT Application form.
