SNAP 2026 has two major changes from the previous admission cycle. The SNAP test registration fee has increased from ₹2,250 to ₹2,550 per test, while the programme registration fee remains ₹1,000 per programme.

The exam structure has also changed, with a new section, Ethics, Morality and Values, added to the exam.

SNAP 2026 Exam Pattern Changed

SNAP 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

The paper will have 60 objective questions to be attempted in 60 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while an incorrect answer attracts a 25% negative mark.

SNAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised University. The minimum qualifying marks are:

  • 50% marks or equivalent grade for candidates in the general category.
  • 45% marks or equivalent grade for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

SNAP 2026 Registration Fee Increased

Candidates will have to pay SNAP registration fees of ₹2,550 per test, with government taxes additional wherever applicable. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

In addition, they must also pay programme registration fee of ₹1,000 programme for each programme they wish to apply for.  

Paying only the SNAP registration fee does not make a candidate eligible for shortlisting for an MBA programme. The applicable programme registration fee must also be paid. 

They can pay the SNAP registration fee through:

Both the SNAP registration fee and programme registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable

SNAP 2026 Registration Process

Candidates need to complete the SNAP exam registration online by November 25, 2026. Here are the steps to register for the SNAP 2026 exam:

  • Register online on the SNAP website up to November 25, 2026.
  • Read the instructions and click Continue to accept the terms and conditions.
  • Enter the required details in the registration form.
  • Click Save and Continue.
  • Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and email ID.
  • After successful registration, the candidate will receive the SNAP ID and password through email and SMS.
  • Use the SNAP ID for communication related to the SNAP 2026 entrance test and admission process.
  • Pay the SNAP test registration fee.
  • Pay the programme registration fee for each M.B.A. programme being selected.

The addition of Ethics, Morality and Values changes the section-wise preparation for SNAP 2026. Candidates now need to prepare for four sections within the same 60-minute duration.
